This policy explains what personal information Baadshah Tools collects when you use baadshahtools.pk, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. We have written it to describe what this website actually does rather than to cover every hypothetical.
Who we are
Baadshah Tools supplies industrial tools, lubricants, cutters and workshop equipment from Karachi, Pakistan. We are the data controller for the information described below.

What this website is
baadshahtools.pk is a product catalogue. It does not sell online: there is no shopping cart, no checkout and no payment processing. We never ask for, receive or store card or bank details through this website. Customers do not create accounts.
Information we collect
1. Information you give us
When you submit the contact form we store:
- Your name, email address, phone number and company (if provided)
- The subject and message you write
- The product you were viewing, if the enquiry came from a product page
We use this solely to answer your enquiry and to follow it up. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking.
2. Information collected automatically
When an enquiry is submitted, or when someone taps a WhatsApp enquiry button, we record the page URL, the referring page and the browser user-agent string alongside it. WhatsApp button taps are recorded with the product name and SKU so we can see which products people ask about most. These records are not linked to a named individual.
If you have accepted analytics cookies, Google Analytics also collects standard usage data — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type. IP anonymisation is enabled. See our Cookie Policy for the full detail and how to opt out.
3. Information stored in your own browser
Some features keep data on your device only. It is never transmitted to us:
- Recently viewed products — the last 8 products you opened
- Recent searches — the last 6 terms you searched for
- Cookie choice — whether you accepted or declined analytics
Clearing your browser storage removes all of it.
WhatsApp enquiries
Our primary enquiry route is WhatsApp. When you tap an enquiry button, your device opens WhatsApp with a message pre-filled with the product name, SKU and link — you choose whether to send it. Once sent, the conversation takes place on WhatsApp and is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy, not this one. WhatsApp will see your phone number and profile name. We keep those conversations for as long as needed to serve you.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf:

Some of these providers are located outside Pakistan, so your information may be processed abroad. We only use established providers who offer appropriate contractual safeguards.
We may also disclose information where we are required to by Pakistani law, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries — kept while the enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for our business records.
- WhatsApp click records — retained as aggregate demand data; they contain no personal identifiers.
- Administrator activity logs — automatically deleted after 180 days.
- Analytics data — retained according to Google's settings for our property.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Administrator access is restricted, passwords are stored hashed, and stored credentials for email delivery are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved.
Children
This is a business-to-business catalogue and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete your enquiry and contact details
- Stop contacting you

Pakistan does not yet have a comprehensive data protection statute in force. We offer the rights above voluntarily, as a matter of good practice.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on the site.
